Product Description
The Philodendron Ring of Fire Variegated is an exotic tropical aroid prized for its fiery, multi-colored jagged leaves displaying shades of green, white, cream, yellow, orange, and red.
KEY PLANT FEATURES
FOLIAGE: Long, narrow, and deeply serrated (toothed) leaves resembling sawteeth. New leaves often emerge with a striking bronze or reddish tint before stabilizing into unique splashes of variegation.
GROWTH HABIT: A slow-to-moderate-growing climbing vine that loves to scale a moss pole or trellis as it matures.
SIZE: Can reach indoor heights of 2 to 8 feet depending on support and care.
TOXICITY: Contains calcium oxalate crystals, making it toxic to cats, dogs, and humans if ingested.
CARE REQUIREMENTS
LIGHT: Thrives in 8 to 12 hours of bright, indirect sunlight. Direct afternoon sun will burn the leaves, while too little light causes the variegation to fade or revert to green.
WATERING: Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry out completely before watering thoroughly. Avoid soggy soil to prevent root rot.
SOIL: Loose, chunky, and well-draining soil mix containing peat, perlite, and orchid bark.
TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY: Prefers warm temperatures between 65°F–85°F (18°C–27°C) and higher humidity levels (60% to 80%).
